New find of rich indigo blue to light blue complex crystals of Fluorite on Quartz, from the Huanggang Mine (Shaft 4), Banner, Mongolia. Inter grown crystals of Fluorite abundantly form on well developed prismatic crystals of Quartz. The lustrous Fluorite crystals measuring to 1.5cm show excellent form of hopper habit on the cubic faces, with complex combinations of the Dodecahedral and Octahedral faces, giving the edges a rounded aspect. Crystals of Quartz measuring to 5cm tall show several phases of deposition. Very fine specimens and uncommon deep colour for Fluorite from the new find.
