Clusters of translucent Fluorite are speared together by Schorl Tourmaline. This specimen is from the single pocket find in mid 2012 in the Erongo Mountains, Namibia. The Fluorite crystals are highly modified dominantly octahedral form, with pale blue colour, dotted by deep purple. The largest crystal measures just over 2cm across. Lustrous black Schorl Tourmaline is intergrown at all angles, the main crystal measuring to 3cm length, with a well formed termination at one end with multiple parallel terminations at the other. The Schorls are transparent towards the edges with yellow-brown to purplish colour.
