A striking specimen with sprays of lustrous black Schorl Tourmaline accompanied by Fluorite and Goshenite Beryl. The Schorl forms diverging clusters of parallel crystals, often with a lustrous pyramidal termination at one end, and fibrous at the other. The Schorl are in fact translucent under magnification with colour banding including pinkish, yellowish and greenish tones. The single modified Fluorite crystal, measuring 1.4cm wide is translucent pale purple with tiny dark purple spots. Glassy hexagonal crystals of colourless Beryl variety Goshenite are also present up to 6mm length. An attractive specimen from a single pocket find in mid 2012.
