This specimen of cut and polished Fluorite slice displays to advantage the inter grown formation of the Fluorite from the Ladywash Mine, Derbyshire. The slice also shows the characteristic colour and transparency and phantom zoning of most Fluorite from the area. Sparkling metallic yellow micro-crystals of Marcasite/Pyrite are seen within zoned areas, with scattered spheres of micro black Bitumen. A fascinating specimen from the mine.
