A fine display of tetrahexahedral crystals of Fluorite with Chalcopyrite and Sphalerite, from the Pell Mine (part of St.Agnes Consols), Cornwall. Well formed crystals of Fluorite measuring to 1cm, are essentially aggregated over one long edge of the display face. The Fluorite crystals are lustrous with an outer purple zone covering a light green Fluorite vein. In association are metallic yellow inter grown crystals of Chalcopyrite with Pyrite, and scattered crystals of black Sphalerite, all on a vein of crystallized dark green Chlorite. An excellent specimen from this very old Cornish mine.
