Two excellent inter grown crystals of Fluorite from the Allenheads Mine, Northumberland. Lustrous crystals of pastel purple Fluorite are zone edges several thin bands of darker purple. The crystals of Fluorite measure to 2.5cm, associated with scattered crystals of translucent to opaque white Quartz crystals. Both minerals have formed on a biscuit coloured druse of Siderite. There is slight damage to some crystal edges, but this does not detract from what is essentially a brilliant aesthetic specimen, from the George Farr collection.
