A fine aesthetic display of two major classically twinned crystals of Fluorite from the Allenheads Mine, Northumberland (George Farr collection). The twinned crystals of Fluorite measure to 3cm on edge, with a pleasing gemmy purple colour. Light tan coloured drusey crystals of Siderite preferentially coat the back of the Fluorite crystals. Many smaller crystals of Fluorite surround the two larger crystals on a matrix of tan coloured Siderite. The specimen has been repaired, but impossible to see with the eye, and in no way detracts from the specimens appearance.
