A large eye-filling cabinet specimen of Galena from probably one of the best locations for the species in Europe, namely the Madan Ore Field, Bulgaria. The rich specimen displays a multitude of bright metallic intergrown sharp cubic crystals, measuring to 1.5cm on edge. The Galena appears to be heaped along the axis of the specimen in an attractive display. Black highly reflective crystals of Sphalerite are in attendance around and intergrown with the Galena, forming crystal clusters to over 1cm, on a typical vuggy Quartz matrix. All in all a very well put together specimen of Galena for your display cabinet.
