Very fine inter grown cubo-octahedral crystals of Galena on Fluorite with Siderite from the Boltsburn Mine, Weardale, Co Durham (a mine well known for Fluorite specimens). A bright Galena display of a well developed crystal measuring to 5cm, with further inter grown Galena's. Crystals of Galena have developed on a matrix of pastel purple crystals of Fluorite, and partial later deposition of biscuit coloured Siderite. A great Galena specimen from the mine.
