A classic Pseudomorph of Galena after Pyromorphite from the Kautenbach Mine, Hunsruck, Germany. Crystals of tabular hexagonal Pyromorphite measuring to 1cm, have been mostly replaced by lead-grey metallic Galena. On a matrix of Vein Quartz with Goethite. The replacement of secondary Pyromorphite by supergene Galena is only known from a few locations.
