A consummate German classic specimen of Galena after Pyromorphite from the Kautenbach Mine. Well formed tabular-blocky crystals of preexisting Pyromorphite measuring to 1.1cm are very richly intergrown. Subsequently, the crystals of Pyromorphite have been faithfully replaced to a large extent by lead grey Galena under natural chemically reducing conditions. A very fine specimen from the Kautenbach Mine.
