Garnet Var Grossular
ID: CC754
Bright raspberry pink Grossular Garnets with a sub-vitreous lustre are partially etched from a white crystalline Quartz and Calcite metamorphic matrix. The two main display crystals measure up to 12mm, and all the Garnets are sharply formed dodecahedrons. Lots of colour in this small cabinet display specimen! From a find about 10 years ago, this is our first release of the material we have.
