A rare very rich type locality specimen of the Zinc Aluminium Sulphate Hydrate Glaukocerinite, depicted in a photograph on page 43 of the German Lapis magazine on the Lavrion minerals 1999. The specimen is from the Wolfgang Wendal collection from the Serpiere Mine, Lavrion, Greece. The Glaukocerinite is seen as intriguing botryoidal bubbly formations with a fibrous internal structure. A terrific specimen of a rare mineral.
