ID: CC3277

Choice crystals of Goethite on this very well crystal laced Goethite specimens from Cornwalls most celebrated Iron mine, Restormel Royal. (The name royal was added to the mine in 1846 when Queen Victoria and Prince Albert visited the mine). Crystals of Goethite are particularly prominent and well developed over a cavernous Quartz matrix. The crystals of Goethite are stout with striations parallel to the prism, measuring to 0.8cm, with excellent terminations. A fine Goethite specimen from the mine.
