Classic sparkling Goethite crystals from Cornwall’s most renowned location for such specimens, at Restormel Royal Iron Mine. (The mine taking the name Royal after a visit in 1846 by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert). A druse of terminated Goethite crystals reflected the light, with associated colourless to white crystalline Quartz. The edge of the specimen displays the typical radiating structure of the Goethite. A neat specimen from Restormel Royal.
