A rare Greenockite crystal specimen from the Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. Micro orange-red to orange-yellow hexagonal crystals measuring to around 0.2mm of Greenockite, are blocky to tabular in habit. Several other areas on the specimen also show crystals of Greenockite, as well as inclusions in gemmy-translucent crystals of Smithsonite. Translucent inter grown prismatic to stubby crystals of Smithsonite richly cover much of the specimen. Within the crystals of Smithsonite can be seen micro-inclusions of a brown platy undefined mineral along with the Greenockite. On a Galena rich matrix. Rare Tsumeb mineral.
