A rare Greenockite crystal specimen from the Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. Micro orange-red to orange-yellow hexagonal crystals measuring to around 0.2mm of Greenockite, are blocky to tabular in habit. Areas on the specimen show abundant crystals of Greenockite, as well as inclusions in gemmy-translucent crystals of Smithsonite. Translucent inter grown prismatic to stubby crystals of Smithsonite richly cover much of the specimen. Within the crystals of Smithsonite can be seen micro-inclusions of a brown platy undefined mineral along with the Greenockite on a Galena rich matrix. A rare Tsumeb mineral.
