Grossular Garnet

ID: CC937

A large dodecahedral crystal of Grossular Garnet from a now famous location at Sierra de la Cruz, Mexico. The typical raspberry red 1.5cm crystal is aesthetically perched on the top of the light coloured matrix. Many other Grossular Garnet crystals to 5mm richly invest the matrix. All the crystals are translucent with the typical luster for Grossular from this location.
