A pleasing array of dodecahedral crystals of Grossular Garnet from a now famous location at Sierra de la Cruz, Mexico. The typical raspberry red crystals to 1.3cm richly invest the light coloured matrix. The main display crystal measures 0.9cm and overhangs the edge of the 'V' shaped cavity, with other smaller crystal appearing to tumble down the sides of a canyon. Many other Grossular Garnet crystals are scattered and aggregated over the matrix. All the crystals are translucent with the typical luster for Grossular from this location.
