A very impressive large specimen of Jeffrey Mine, Asbestos, Canada Grossular Garnet measuring to 17cm tall, with individual crystals to 1.2cm. Crystals of Grossular are around 95% gemmy on both side of the specimen from a rich wine to a champagne colour. A truly magnificent specimen from the mine.
