An interesting Hematite specimen consisting of lamellae in parallel growth of varying thickness. The Hematite has a mirror like lustre, and interesting growth patterns on the surface give a rippled effect. The specimen has an arborescent form with the lamellae branching out at 60 degree orientations. One thin blade is rebelling and lies at an angle to the plane of the specimen. There are two contact points on the specimen, one of which has overgrowth of the secondary small Quartz crystals.
