An excellent miniature specimen of Hematite on Quartz with Adularia from the Cavradi Gorge, Switzerland. The Hematite forms a compact group of bright metallic tabular crystals in parallel growth. The 2cm x 1.5cm Hematite crystal group has formed on colourless to slightly smoky Quartz crystals. The Quartz is partly overgrown by creamy curving stacked crystals of Adularia. Super bright lustre!
