Heterogenite is a mineral seldom seen from the Tsumeb Mine, Namibia and often overlooked. This specimen consists of a stepped crystal of rhombic Calcite over grown by a layer of vitreous black Heterogenite. Towards the centre of the specimen is an included area of what is likely green Mottramite and calcite.
