A super specimen of Hilgardite with Boracite from the Boulby Mine, North Yorkshire. The Hilgardite forms distinctive lustrous orange-red micro-crystals of 1-2mm. They richly invest the sparkling Boracite matrix with areas of translucent light orange Sylvite to several cms. The Boracite forms aggregated and scattered balls to 0.8cm diameter and large areas of drusy micro-crystals all over the specimen. A rich specimen of Hilgardite and Boracite from the Boulby Potash Mine.
