This very rare Beryllium mineral was first described in 1958 from the one and only location of Xianghualing Mine, China. The Hsianghualite is seen as white aggregates up to 3.5cm by 2cm in a mixed matrix of nearly black Mica with pink Fluorite and translucent Calcite. The specimen has a number of euhedral crystals of Cassiterite to 0.6cm, from light brown to brown at the crystal termination.
