Hydrocerussite on Cerussite With Probable Galena

ID: CC1769

An interesting specimen of Galena now partially corroded, with a secondary growth of Cerussite which has a thin overgrowth of white HydroCerussite. The Galena is matt black and porous looking providing a nice background to the satiny lustre of the coating of Hydrocerussite. The Cerussite shows well defined reticulated twinned crystal growth.
