Karibibite With Schneiderhohnite

ID: CC1742

A fine miniature of rare Karibibite (an Iron Arsenate) with the even rarer double Iron Arsenate Schneiderhohnite, from the Oumlil Mine, Morocco. The Karibibite forms bright golden yellow silky crystals, in radial balls, richly lining a shallow cavity 1.5cm by 1.3cm. Well formed accented black lustrous micro-crystals of Schneiderhohnite also line the cavity, sparkling between the Karibibite. Separately, the Schneiderhohnite forms a thin black veinlet in the sandy coloured matrix below the cavity. A rich example of two rare species from Morocco.
