An cute specimen of Kermesite from the Globe and Phoenix Mine, situated in the centre of Zimbabwe at Kwekwe town. The specimen we have to offer displays beautifully formed rich radial clusters of bladed Kermesite crystals measuring to 1.5cm long. The colour of the Kermesite is a bright shiny metallic deep maroon. The Kemesite is associated with metallic grey-black octahedral micro-crystals of Magnetite, and scattered tan crystals of Calcite. A rich specimen from an uncommon location.
