Classic plumose developments of lustrous maroon red crystal clusters of Kermesite measuring to 1cm are richly intergrown on a contrasting white Quartz from the Braunsdorf area Germany (possibly the Neue Hoffnung Gottes Mine). The reverse side of the specimen also carries abundant bladed crystals of creamy yellowish Valentinite intergrown with radial Kermesite.
