A rich specimen of the rare Copper Zinc Phosphate Kipushite from the Type locality at the Kipushi Mine, DR Congo. The rich emerald green micro-crystals of Kipushite are liberally aggregated and scattered over the light sandy coloured matrix. The bladed Kipushite crystals are arranged in radial form with a sparkling lustre. The Kipushite is associated with and has grown on minutely botryoidal areas of blue-green Pseudomalachite. White to colourless micro-crystals of Pyromorphite forms druse on the matrix. A great specimen for micro-photography from the mine.
