ID: CC2508

A rare specimen of the Gold-Silver Telluride Krennerite from the classic mining area of Cripple Creek, Colorado, USA. Excellent single crystals of Krennerite measuring to 2mm are mostly liberally scattered in an elongated Quartz druse lined cavity. The Krennerite crystals are a bright metallic silver set pleasingly against the translucent milky Quartz. A number of other cavities also carry crystals of this rare species. A terrific specimen of Krennerite from the area.
