A terrific specimen of Lanarkite seldom offered from probably the most well known mine in Leadhills, Scotland, namely the Susanna Mine. Excellent classic bladed crystals of Lanarkite measure to a notable 1.7cm long. The crystals of Lanarkite are seen abundantly clustered in a cavity measuring 2.6cm by 1cm, in sub-radial form, many crystals are sharply terminated. Crystals of Lanarkite are lustrous translucent white, some with a yellow tint. Crystals of tubular brownish Leadhillite are in association with the Lanarkite. A micro druse of Mattheddleite lines the inside of the cavity, with other smaller cavities with further Lanarkite, and Cerussite crystals. A classic specimen much sought after from the Susanna Mine.
