Legrandite

ID: CC3049

A fine crystal Legrandite specimen from the classic Ojuela Mine, Mexico. The Legrandite crystals are gemmy and deep bright yellow, with superb lustre. Elongated crystals with chisel-like terminations grow in divergent clusters from the matrix, measuring to 1cm in length on a Limonitic characteristic matrix. An aesthetic, and brightly coloured quality specimen of Legrandite which was once so common is now increasingly hard to find.
