A well positioned micaceous crystal of Leiteite is included with acicular copper-coloured crystals of the rare mineral Ludlockite. The main Leiteite crystal is 11mm wide and the exposed bloom of Ludlockite in the photo is 3mm across - though there are many areas of exposed and included Ludlockite in this piece! An interesting association of these two rare species, with a pleasing contrast in habit and colour.
