Libethenite

ID: CC4071

A sparkling specimen of micro-crystals of Libethenite richly line numerous cavities in a Ferruginous-Quartz veinstone, in part coated by a grey-black Fe-oxide. The Libethenite crystals are a rich deep green, from South Wheal Frances. An old Sir Arthur Russel label comes with the specimen, stating that it came from J.Lavin of Penzance, and Baroness Burett-Coutts Collection.
