Rich sparkling druse's of Libethenite cover large areas of the specimen from South Wheal Frances. Crystals of micro size Libethenite are a rich deep to light green on a matrix of yellow brown to reddish Goethite with areas of ferruginous Quartz. The specimen was originally in the Baroness Burdett-Coutts collection before passing to Sir Arthur Russell, and into the Natural History Museum London. Two old labels come with the specimen.
