Two classic minerals from the Leadhills mining area in South Lanarkshire. Both minerals have great depth of colour. The Linarite forms groups to 0.8cm of rich royal blue bladed crystals. They are beautifully set against intense blue-green lustrous sparkling crystal druse of Caledonite. The Linarite and Caledonite crystals have formed on a thin veinlet of white Cerussite, and brown Goethite replaced Chalcopyrite/Pyrite. Very colourful and attractive.
