A very colourful specimen of Linarite with Brochantite from the Proprietary Mine, which developed the Broken Hill Orebody. Crystals of lustrous royal blue inter grown and radial bladed Linarite crystals measuring to 4mm are abundant in many cavities. An early phase of Linarite crystals have been replaced by green Brochantite and white-colourless 'Anglesite', Brochantite also forms a major part of the matrix. On the underside of the specimen can be seen areas of crystallized Aurichalcite. A matrix of Cerussite with Smithsonite bears all the secondary species. A great study specimen of supergene mineralization.
