Linarite With Leadhillite

ID: CC4003

Particularly well formed crystals of Linarite mainly line a cavity in the characteristic Quartz veinstone, from the USA's best location for the species., namely the Grand Reef Mine, Graham Co. Excellent lustrous royal blue bladed crystals of Linarite measuring to around 5mm fill a Quartz crystal lined cavity measuring to 2 x 2cm, with a white translucent cleavage area of Leadhillite. A classic Linarite specimen from the mine. The specimen has been sawn so as not to damage the Linarite crystals by other more vigorous methods.
