A superb miniature specimen of rich bi-coloured Liroconite from the classic type location for the species, namely Wheal Gorland. The Liroconite forms sharp lustrous crystals to 2.5mm richly coating and lining cavities in a gossan matrix. The crystals display the well known form for Liroconite and have high luster, with a sky blue and green colouration. As a side note the green variety of Liroconite is under investigation to see why it is this darker green colour. This specimen is from the world type locality for the species - a real classic!
