Liroconite

ID: CC1074

A great specimen of one of Cornwall's most desirable minerals, from the celebrated Wheal Gorland. The Liroconite on this specimen displays fine well formed crystals to 2mm pleasingly covering one face of the specimen. The Liroconite has great rich blue-green colour with fine luster, standing out from the Gossan matrix. An excellent thumbnail specimen of this rare much sought after Copper mineral. The specimen comes with an old Dr. F. Krantz of Bonn label.
