Three well developed crystal clusters of the rare mineral Liroconite have formed in a cavity on the specimen, from the one and only Wheal Gorland, St. Day, Cornwall. Crystals of Liroconite display the characteristic wedge habit, largest crystal cluster measuring to 1cm. The Liroconite crystals are a beautiful classic lustrous blue to a sea green and are associated with green Malachite in a Quartz matrix. A fine beauty from the famous Wheal Gorland.
