A well developed group of rare green Liroconite crystals from the famous Wheal Gorland, St.Day, Cornwall. Crystals of Liroconite measuring to 4mm, mainly displaying parallel and stepped growth. A classic Goethite Gossan matrix supports the crystals of Liroconite, with further crystals of Liroconite dotted here and there, white areas of Gibbsite-Halloysite are also in association. It is now common knowledge amongst British mineral collectors that many rich green Liroconite crystals are zinc enriched.
