Sharply formed wedge-shaped, edge on crystals of Liroconite are to be seen lining cavities on the specimen, from Wheal Gorland, St. Day. Crystals of Liroconite display lots of parallel growth with a lustrous green to blue colour. Associated with crystalline blue Azurite and Malachite with areas of green Chrysocolla, which also coats and replaces crystals of Malachite on a Quartz/Goethite matrix. A much sought after species from this old 18-19th copper mine.
