A very rich specimen of the rare Copper Arsenide Luzonite from the type locality area of the Mancayan Mineral District, Philippines. Interestingly copper is believed to have been sold to the Chines in the 12th century from the mines. A specimen of Luzonite forming three round solid domes covered in a druse of well developed somewhat bladed crystals measuring to an average of 2mm, having a metallic deep grey colour. On the reverse of the specimen the crystals of Luzonite are covered by a thin sparkling druse of metallic yellow Pyrite, with white areas of Dickite-Kaolinite. The base of the specimen has been sawn to display to best advantage; a great specimen of the species.
