Two clusters of sharply developed crystals of Malachite adorn a Chrysocolla coated Calcite, from the Mashamba West Mine, D.R.Congo. The larger of the two Malachite crystal clusters measures to 2.2cm by 1,7cm. Both display excellently arrow-like terminations to the crystals, and are lustrous with deep rich green. Crystals of Malacite have formed on a thin covering of pastel blue Chrysocolla with black spots of an undefined Mn Oxide. A neat specimen of Malachite from the mine.
