A pleasing botryoidal specimen from this old Russian copper mining location at Nizhnii Tagil. A specimen looking quite comical with what appears to be bulging eyes over a bulbous nose. The Malachite displays reflective light from the rounded areas of the specimen. The under side of the specimen showing the characteristic depositional banding in various shades of green.
