Malachite

ID: CC4511

A very fine rich specimen of Malachite from the Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. The specimen displays an abundance of inter grown bladed Malachite crystals with feathery terminations. Crystals of Malachite possess a high degree of velvety luster from the striated faces. The Malachite has formed on a deep red Goethite matrix with metallic grey remnants of probably Chalcocite. A great Malachite specimen.
