Malachite After Azurite

ID: CC2356

An excellent cluster of prismatic to blocky crystals of Azurite largely replaced by Malachite, from the Tsumeb Mine. The Malachite replaced crystals measure to 1.8cm tall with a green satiny luster, and vestiges of royal blue Azurite. The pseudomorphed Azurite crystals have formed on a thin bright green druse of Arsentsumebite, which has overgrown translucent micro-crystals of Cerussite.
