Malachite After Azurite

ID: CC1799

A shapely floater example of this classic Tsumeb pseudomorph process. The Malachite has completely replaced the former doubly terminating Azurite crystals leaving the original sharp Azurite terminations and prism faces visible on one side of the specimen. Turn the specimen around and there is the most sheeny display of velvet Malachite and crystalline prismatic Malachite. Very aesthetic and no visible damage - lovely piece.
